Fun and good food. Friendly locals. Cold Beer. Had boudin ball and gumbo was ok.Looks like night time would really be fun with big dance floor.

The food here is always good. Haven't had a bad meal from here. It's always packed at lunchtime but it's not a bad thing.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible. This place has for a great many always remained an amazing place to eat Authentic Cajun food

Great fried Cajun food and even better Cajun music!!!! The atmosphere is alive and great!!!!! I recommend getting there before you're hungry because the wait can be pretty long!

The decorations inside were unique and inviting. They had the option to go through the line to choose what you wanted to order or order straight from your chair. I opted to get sausage and chicken gumbo as well as crawfish pistolettes. The crawfish pistolettes were one of my favorite things and I could have eaten five more, so good! They were out of seafood gumbo, I've heard it's delicious too!

I stopped by this cafeteria style restaurant one day while I was visiting a client. He recommended it and coincidentally it was one of the closer restaurants as well. From the street, you can easily see this is a large building, much larger than a typical restauant. I'm thinking more like an event hall, or club similar to Billy Bobs in Ft. Worth. Once inside, you have a choice between the serving line or ordering from the menu. The buffet line contains a salad bar (unlimited) and a hot items section (not unlimited). Think of it as a cajun Luby's, almost, since there are servers behind the cafeteria line, a dessert cold fridge near the end, and a cashiers assistant that prepares your beverage of choice. You can choose between all veggies, 1 meat, or combo (2 meats). Each comes with sides and a roll. We looked at the serving line and decided to go with the serving line. It happened to have mostly fried foods (fried shrimp, fried catfish, fried pork chop, etc.) the day we visited, a Tuesday. I came with a party of 3 and we all happened to order the fried shrimp. That entree just looked the best and freshest to me. At the front of the hot line, they have the gumbos, etouffee and jambalayas. We all chose the seafood gumbo coincidentally too, which is one of the items that's supposedly really good. I added mashed potatoes and dirty rice and a regular roll. Nothing special about the mashed potatoes (not homemade), or the roll but the dirty rice was definitely homemade and definitely dirty. We all enjoyed our shrimp and gumbo of course. If I was ever in the area again, I'd definitely return and see what they're serving on other days.

My co-workers and I came to Larry's for lunch. It was suggested by a local gentleman that we met while here for business. We have to say that we were not disappointed in his suggestion. We went through the buffet style line where you get to choose from items they have there. I got one meat and two sides that consisted of a stuffed pork chop, jambalaya, and dirty rice. All three items were extremely delicious and had tremendous flavors. My co-workers got a bowl of crawfish Crawfish Étouffée and the other got the shrimp and crabmeat gumbo. They both said that what they had was wonderful and very filling. The staff was very friendly and on the top of re-filling our drinks. We will definitely be back!
